Joined IGNOU on 15th April, 1987, done her Bachelor of Engineering in ‘Electronics & Tele-communications’ from Institution of Engineers, Calcutta. She has a rich experience in electronic media having witnessed the change of technologies on various levels. She is presently in-charge of overall maintenance of all technical facilities at EMPC. The facilities includes State of the art High Definition video Studio, Standard Definition video studio, field recording units, HD video editing suits, SD video editing suits, Computer graphics,EDUSAT network, Gyan Vani studios, Audio Studios, Audio editing, Duplication facilities, Preview facility and an Earth Station for the broadcast of Gyan Darshan TV channel.
She is also the Engineering In-charge responsible for operations and maintenance of the technical facilities of IGNOU Convention Centre and for the video coverage of all major events which are being live telecast on Gyan Darshan, Gyan Vani channels and IGNOU webcast.
