Mr. K. Venkataraman, presently working as a Producer in the Electronic Media Production Centre, IGNOU. Having Diploma in Film and Technology from Film and Television of Tamil Nadu (FTIT), Chennai and also he has done a advance Diploma in Film Technology from Film and Television Institute of India,(FTII), Pune.
Trained by Internationally renowned Electronic Media Professional of pioneer institutions like, BBC, UKOP and Japan Film and Television Institute and also premier company like Sony Corporation and many more Japan agencies.
His main area of training covered Indoor/Outdoor based Audio cum video programs production techniques, use of Multi camera indoor/outdoor, Live coverage’s and done various Live transmission for both Gyan Darshan and Gyan Vani network.
Mr. Venkataraman is having over three decade of combined professional experience in the field of Electronic Media programs production, Direction, program coordination for various curriculums based programs for various schools. He also has Broadcasting and Telecasting experience.
Mr. Venkataraman has worked as a station manager Gyan Vani Allahabad, Coimbatore and produced more then 300 hrs of Audio programs to launch Gyan Vani Chennai.
Mr. Venkataraman worked as a one of the experts to train various colleges and Intuition Mass communication students who came for the training at EMPC, and also gave a basic training to IGNOU Teachers on production techniques, scripting, editing and indoor/outdoor shooting experience
Mr. Venkataraman was the main coordinator to launch a Kisan Channel and Urdu Channel, he also handled dubbing work (DW-TV) for Gyan Darshan Chennal.
Mr. Venkataraman won a UGC Award for the environmental documentary entitled “CHERRAPUNJI”.
At present he is the coordinator for the School of Computer and Information Sciences (SOCIS) and the Staff Tanning And Research Institute of Distance Education (STRIDE). He has produced more then hundreds of A/V Programs.
