Research Proposals & Reports

Inter University Consortium for Technology Enabled Flexible Education and Development (IUC-TEFED) (presently COE) - IGNOU invites Research Proposals from teachers and academics of IGNOU, State Open Universities and CCIs/DEIs to conduct short term research studies within a period six months to one year in different areas of Distance Open Learning. The budget available at present for each Project is in the range of Rs.25,000-Rs.30,000/- but will be enhanced soon.

The Research Proposals may focus on Technology enabled Education, ODL and Development of Society, Innovative Approach to Collaborative Teaching, Research and Programme/Course Development, Effective Student Support Systems and Services, Funding Policies of ODL Institutions and any other theme that involves collaboration between institutions and systems of education in the country.

The proposals will be assessed by a competent committee of the University and selected proposals will be notified by the University. 50 percent of the budget shall be released after the approval of the Proposal, and the remaining 50  percent shall be given to the Researcher on the completion of the study.
