The following activities are performed by the security unit :-

• Planning & Management of Security & safety of university property (men & materials), accident prevention & Training/Orientation of Staff.
• Management of key control of the entire university, which itself is huge operation on every day basis.
• Issue of Vehicle Stickers, management of parking & traffic, not only in side the campus we extend our service out side on main road on various occasion to facilitate common man & university community.
• Management & Planning of Fire safety provision of the university HQ give advice/expert opinion to Regional Centre whenever we are approached for the same.
• Issue of Identity card/(Permanent/Temp)/Retired employees). Security passes for Casual contract workers and maintain data base.
• House keeping services planning, management, operation & supervision of house keeping at the university HQ, including pest control service.
• Management and facilitation of convention centre activities on day to day basis.
• Liaison with local authorities ie. MCD/NDMC/Police authority etc. for various requirement.
