Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has signed MOC with Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan (now known as Samagra Shiksha), Government of Jammu and Kashmir on January, 04, 2018 to provide training to approximately 20000 in-service untrained teachers by offering its revised B.Ed. programme as per NCTE Norms and Standards, 2014. These are in-service untrained teachers teaching in secondary schools of Jammu and Kashmir. The programme is being offered from January, 2018. Nearly 150 PSCs have been identified and student support services are being provided in blended mode i.e. Printed self-learning material, SLM in e-form through IGNOU e-content App and e-Gyankosh, Orientation and academic support through dedicated sessions on DD Gyandarshan channel and recorded Video-Programmes.
