Prof. Mahesh Chand Sharma has served in National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and Conventional University and National Open University as Lecturer, Reader, Professor and Director for more than three decades. 

He has obtained his Masters in Science, M.Ed, M.Phil and Doctoral degree in Education from University of Delhi and also obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Distance Education (PGDDE), IGNOU and Certificate of Advance Training in Educational Technology, Research and Distance Education from U.K. under TCTP Fellowship. He has researched in the area of Psychology of Learning, Educational Technology, Evaluation, Science Education and Teacher Education. 

He is coordinating Teacher Education programme (B.Ed) and Post Graduate Diploma in School Leadership and Management. In addition to this, his areas of interest/specialization are HIV/AIDS Education, Life skills and Family Education for Teacher Education.
