Prof. Yalavarthi Nirmala holds M.Sc (Botany), M.Phil (Botany), M.Ed and Ph.D. (Education).
She has been in teaching profession since 1989. She worked in State Govt. of Andhra Pradesh,
National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and then joined in Indira
Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi.
Her areas of interest are Science Education, Teacher Education and Environmental Education.
