Prof. Vandana Singh, Professor in the School of Education, IGNOU. She has an experience of about 18 years of teaching, research and training experience in the area of Teacher education. She has experience of teaching both undergraduate and post graduate level.

She holds a M.Sc. (Biosciences), M.Ed. Ph.D. in Education degree from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She has been a recipient of Junior Research Fellowship by both UGC and CSIR.

She is the course team member of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), P G Diploma in Educational Management and Administration, P G Diploma in Higher Education and Management, Diploma in Elementary Education and Ph.D (Education). Presently, she is coordinating Post Graduate Diploma in Pre-Primary Education (PGDPPEd) and Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Management and Administration (PGDEMA) programme.She has contributed both at national and international level, through participations in conferences, meetings, and seminars and trainings. She has widely published articles in national and international journals. 

 In addition to her experience in the area teacher education, her other specialization areas includes Psychology of Teaching and learning, Science Education, Educational Management and Administration and Curriculum Studies.
