Achievements: 
 
1. Awarded bursary to participate as a resource person in the International Advanced Qualification Discussion on April 10, 2013 in conjunction with the 50th International Conference on Fundraising organized by Association for Fundraising Professionals on April 6-10 at San Diego, California.
2. Awarded the COL, UNESCO-AAOU grant to attend 27th AAOU Annual Conference held from 1st – 3rd October 2013 in AIOU, Islamabad, Pakistan.
 
Areas of Interest: 
 
Dr. G. Mahesh has keen interest in the areas of public health, fundraising, training and capacity building, institution building, networking and advocacy. He has been working towards strengthening social work education and practice in open and distance learning. Presently, he is coordinating M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Social Work programmes in the School of Social Work.
