School of Law is offering Ph. D Programme from July, 2009. The essential qualification for Ph. D is LL.M. with 55% marks and 5 years of Teaching and Research experience or law related work experience . The candidate seeking admission to Ph. D will submit a research proposal along with the application. The Research proposal should specify the board field of study, introduction to the specific problem, its importance and significance along with the survey of literature and analysis of law policy framework and methodology of the proposed research. The student can obtain the application form and other details from Research Unit, IGNOU.

Objectives: The objectives of this programme are to:
·       To enable the aspiring PG Law Graduates to pursue research work in the field of Law and

·       To provide an opportunity to law teachers and practitioners to pursue or undertake research study in the area of their interest.
