After completing Ph.D. in Management from FMS, BHU in 1986, I joined Department of Management, Kurukshetra University as Lecturer on April, 10, 1986 and continued there before joining School of Management, IGNOU on March, 05, 1987 as Lecturer. The ODL system was entirely a new world and the work at hand was very fascinating, challenging, and target oriented with very tight schedule. Over and above all, it was an enormous learning in an entirely new situation.
In May, 1994, I was selected as Reader and in April 1999 was selected as Professor of Management in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behavior.
I headed SOMS as Director between 2002 -2005. I have served on many statutory bodies of IGNOU and on some of the other Universities as well. Apart from above, I had also served as CVO, Head Defence Unit, Head, Pan-Africa Project, Director, CPC, Director, ACD and presently holding the charge of Director, International Division.
