Dr. M. Boazbou Newmai obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Physics and Astrophysics, University of Delhi in the area of Condensed Matter Physics. Prior to joining IGNOU as Assistant Professor, Dr. Newmai worked in Ramjas College, Department of Physics, University of Delhi as Assistant Professor for more than 5 years.
At IGNOU, Dr. Newmai is the co-coordinator of M.Sc. Physics programme, he has been engaged in the Designing, Development, and Maintenance of various courses/programmes.
