WORK EXPERIENCE: Dr. Das worked as a Programme Coordinator at Sarai, Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, Delhi from July 2007to July 2010. She has worked as Editorial Assistant for the international peer-reviewed bi-annual journal Bioscope: South Asian Screen Studies (published by Sage).
Dr. Das joined IGNOU in August 2010 and has an experience of 9 years here. She is the Programme Coordinator of Bachelors in Anthropology (General) under CBCS. She is Course Coordinator for the course on Anthropology and Methods of Research for Master’s Part I and Course Coordinator for the courses on Practicing Anthropology and Gender and Society for Master’s Part II. As part of the Discipline’s activities, she has organised workshops and talks.
On the personal front, Dr. Das is one of the contributors to the fictional piece, “The Afterlife of Ammi’s Betel-nut Box and Other Things” in the graphic novel, The Pao Anthology of Comics #1, published by Penguin India, New Delhi (published in August, 2012)
