Dr.KondeLingaswamy is an Assistant Professor at School of Social Work, IGNOU. He did his BSc from Nagarjuna Govt Degree College Nalgonda, Osmania University and M.S.W. in Urban Rural Tribal Community Development specialization from Osmania University Post Graduate College Secunderabad, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana. He holds PhD degree in Social Work from Osmania University, Hyderabad, and qualified UGC-NET in the year 2013. Prior to joining IGNOU, he worked as Assistant Professor (Contractual) in Osmania University Post Graduate College,Secunderabad, Osmania University, Hyderabad. He possesses experience in Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee scheme (MGNREGS) in Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India as an Additional Programme Officer. Presently, he is one of the coordinators for BSW Online programme of IGNOU. His academic and research interests are community development, Urbanization and slums, social policy and planning, environmental issues.
