Dr. Arvind K Dubey

Assistant Professor

Dr. Arvind Kumar Dubey is UGC-NET qualified and Ph.D from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University in Tourism Management. He has 19 years of total teaching experience including nearly 10 years of teaching experience at Indraprastha University’s affiliated Government of Delhi’s (Department of Higher Education) institute named Delhi Institute of Heritage Research & Management (Post-Graduate level). He has published 24 research papers/articles; three edited books and presented 35 papers at National/ International Conferences / Seminars etc. He also chaired/co-chaired/ acted as resource person in at least 14 conferences/conventions/workshops/seminars etc.

He (as faculty) taught two papers related to Heritage Tourism Management at Post Graduate Level i.e. Master of Archaeology and Heritage Management and Master of Conservation, Preservation and Heritage Management (2 years course each) at DIHRM, Govt. of NCT Delhi.

He is Managing Editor at Global Journal of Enterprise Information System (e- journal, Print Journal), GJEIS (www.ejournal.co.in/gjeis/index.php/). Two PhD has been awarded and 4 PhD scholars are enrolled.

His area of interest lies in Heritage Tourism Management, Sustainable Tourism Development, Integrated Planning, Marketing, Geography of Tourism and Tourism Impact. He was Programme Coordinator of CTS, DTS, BHM, MHA, EMBAHM, MIHM and B.Sc in Fashion Design Programmes. As a Programme Coordinator he is currently involved in revision/development of tourism courses related CBCS, B.A (Vocational Studies) Tourism Management and BTS. He is Course Coordinator of 12 Courses related to BTS, MTTM/MTA and BAVTM (CBCS).
