SOTST organizes short-term training workshops in different parts of the country. The purpose of the training workshops is to generate trained human resources in the field of translation. Skilled translators are urgently required in government, PSUs, industry, mass media, academics, publishing, etc. The School conducted a number of translation training Programmes in the past years at Guwahati, Cochin, Rajkot, Shillong, Varanasi and Trivendrum.

The School also organized training programme at Patna, Bikaner, BHU and at Hqrs New Delhi.
