The Indira Gandhi National Open University’s (IGNOU’s) Campus Placement Cell (CPC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aspiring Minds Assessment Private Limited to showcase IGNOU’s Employable Talent Pool’ through a customized employability assessment test called the IGNOU-AMCAT Test, followed by an opportunity to be successfully placed through an available recruitment platform called the I-AMPEAR for its students.

“Based on the inputs received from the Aspiring Minds, we will communicate all our regional centers, study centers and students about the AMCAT and I-AMPEAR programmes to facilitate online registration of students for assessment. Students shall be distributed the IGNOU-AMCAT registration forms in the study material packets. IGNOU computer labs at its regional and study centers shall be used to facilitate the assessments,” said Dr. Indu Uprety, Deputy Director, CPC, IGNOU.

“We will design, deploy and assist in the management of Assessment and Placement Online Portal viz., www.MyAmcat.com/ignou/ to provide every AMCAT candidate a detailed employability feedback called the Aspiring Minds Seven Stroke Feedback and the scores/ reports shall be available online through a central MIS over preconfigured email address. There will be 16 to 18 assessment cycles annually conducted for a period of three years of IGNOU students,”said Mr. Himanshu Aggarwal, Director, Aspiring Minds.
