IGNOU to organise workshop on first aid

IGNOU’s School of Health Sciences (SOHS) will organise a one-day training workshop for all the staff members of the University on resuscitation and first aid in the main hall of the Convention Centre at its Headquarters in the Capital on September 10.
The training is being organised in collaboration with PHOENIX institute of CPR defibrillation which is an authorised American Heart Institute training centre in Delhi for which the eminent family physician Dr. Rajinder Kumar Goyal from PHOENIX institute will participate as a master trainer.
The training will equip the participants to deal with life threatening emergency where resuscitation is needed immediately. The training can help save lives or prevent permanent disability.
