Admission for the academic Tourism programmes in IGNOU

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), one of the Mega-Universities in the World, announces admission for its various Masters, Bachelors, PG Diploma and Diploma Programmes in Tourism.

The School of Tourism and Hospitality Services Management (SOTHSM) of IGNOU is offering for July 2015 cycle Master of Arts in Tourism Management (MTM), Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Studies (BTS) and Diploma in Tourism Studies (DTS)
The last date for application for Masters, Bachelors, PG Diploma and Diploma courses is 17th August. However a late fee of Rs 300 would be levied by the University if it is submitted by 31st August."Student Handbook and Prospectus is available at all the Regional Centers or Study Centers of the university which can be obtained in person on payment of Rs.200." All other details can be obtained through the university’s website www.ignou.ac.in.

The flourishing of Tourism in the country created a sudden demand for Tourism Professionals to serve in the Industry. Realizing the dearth of educated Tourism Professionals and the vast avenues of employment opportunities available in the field these programmes were launched by IGNOU.
