IGNOU- Deutsche Welle hosts training methodology programme

The Indira Gandhi National Open University’s - School of Journalism and New Media Studies (SOJNMS) commenced its fourth training programme in collaboration with Deutsche Welle Akademie of Germany at IGNOU campus, New Delhi. The training programme “Train the Trainer” is focused on training and teaching methodology.
This nine days training programme (6th to 14th August 2012) is aimed at propagating new training methodologies among academicians and industry personnel working in different capacities like teachers/ researchers, media trainers, project managers, human resource managers, corporate entities and professionals of related fields.
This will help them develop training and professional skills and update them with the latest in the field. With such a skill set, these trained personnel would be able to communicate more efficiently and effectively when they go out to train people at various levels.
The School has set three successful collaborative precedents in the past with DW Akademie and the areas of online journalism, media management and training methodology and looking at the great demand for such trainings and its long felt need among academicians and industry personnel alike, has decided to come up with this fourth training programme.
