Over 600 students turned up for the Placement Drive held at IGNOU

Campus Placement Cell (CPC) of Indira Gandhi National University (IGNOU) organized a Campus Placement Driver for the bachelors and Selected Post Graduate students on 29th Jan 2016 at Maidan Garhi. Over 600 students participated in the drive.

Prof Nageshwar Rao , Vice Chancellor IGNOU while addressing the students said “ stressed the Importance of self confidence and multi-skilling for making the place in the job market. Prof. Manoj Kulshrestha, Director Incharge, CPC, welcomed to students and participating companies. He informed that similar drives will be conducted in coming month also.

British Telecom (BT), Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, HDFC Argo, CYIENT participated in the drive. A total of 130 students/Alumni were selected/ shortlisted through the drive.

Ms. Chanchal Sharma, Student of IGNOU who was selected by British Telecom praised the support of CPC and thanked IGNOU for initiating such innovative employment support programme for the Online Distance Learning (ODL) students
