Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Celebrated by IGNOU

The Oath was administered by the Vice Chancellor Prof. M. Aslam.

All the Teachers, Academics and Staff took the pledge: “I solemnly pledge that I dedicate myself to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation and also strive hard to spread this message among my fellow countrymen. I take this pledge in the spirit of unification of my country which was made possible by the vision and actions of late Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. I also solemnly resolve to make my own contribution to ensure internal security of my country”.

Prof. M. Aslam, Vice Chancellor,IGNOU started with the Sardar Patel Quote “ We have to shed mutual bickering, shed the difference of being high or low and develop the sense of equality. We have to live like the children of the same father” while having oath through the web conferencing with All Regional Centers (67) of IGNOU which are spread over in India.
