Development of Innovative Support Solutions

• Development of Prototype for On- Demand System

To facilitate the students appear in examination according to their needs and desire, the NCIDE has developed a prototype system for On-Demand –Examination. Software for generating individualized question papers and for on-line registration for On-Demand-exam have been developed and tested. The unique features of programme include issue of on-line hall ticket and on-line attendance record. The software can generate a large number of unique and parallel question papers exactly in accordance with the design and blueprint provided by the faculty.

• Launching of On-Demand Exam

In collaboration with the Student Evaluation Division, the scheme of On-Demand-Exam in few programmes of the University was been formally launched by the Vice Chancellor of the University on the foundation day. To begin with, two Regional Centres of Delhi were identified as the examination centres for On-Demand-Exam and now it has been extended to the Regional Centres Jaipur and Karnal also. • Development of Question Bank for On-Demand Exam

Comprehensive question banks covering the entire syllabus in several programmes have been finalized in all respects and the sample papers have also been generated by the software in different courses. The question banks are thoroughly reviewed and moderated by the experts of the subject to ensure quality question paper generation. It is planned to develop question bank for all courses/programmes being offered by the university.
