Capacity Building

• Skill Development of IGNOU Faculty

A training workshop was organized on Skill Development of IGNOU Faculty using ICT tools for Innovative Learning Solutions.The objective of the workshop was to build a cadre of trained multi-skilled associates in various Divisions and Schools with necessary knowledge and skills required for the application of latest ICT tools. It aimed to empower the IGNOU faculty to eventually develop their own courses and programmes innovatively using the ICT tools to improve their day to day efficiency.

• Skill Development of Non-academic Staff

A workshop was organized on ICT Skill Development of Non-academic Staff for Innovative Organizational Solutions. The objective of the workshop was to acquaint and empower the IGNOU faculty with the latest ICT tools. The focus of the workshop was to acquaint the participants with ICT tools, their accessibility and application for acquiring multi-skilled knowledge.

• Entrepreneurship Skill Development training programmes

Several Entrepreneurship Skill Development training programmes using EDUSAT and innovative ICT tools were organized for the North East Region. These programmes employed two-way audio-video communication channels with the look and feel of a virtual classroom.
