Collaboration and Networking
In order to
facilitate the exchange of experiences towards a search for the technologies
that would facilitate innovative solutions for ODL system in India, and to
foster the spirit of innovation, NCIDE organized a National Seminar on
Innovations in Distance Education and their Applications (IDEA-2008) in
collaboration with Microsoft, TCS and FITT, IIT Delhi. The broad objectives of
the seminar were to stimulate research and innovation in the ODL arena, and to
share the experiences of technology leaders for the development of innovative
learning solutions in distance education.
A Round Table
Discussion on Innovations in Distance Education was organized in collaboration
with Microsoft and FITT. The basic objectives of the Round Table Discussion were
to explore new avenues for innovation in Distance Education and to facilitate
interaction between the developers and users of new technologies for aiding the
teaching-learning process in ODL.
