IGNOU has redesigned and reactivated its popular Educational Resource portal e-Gyankosh with enhanced features. This repository facilitates the learners to search and access the Self Learning Material of Programs offered by IGNOU. The repository has been transferred to COE since 16th November, 2016 vide Notification, dated 16.11.2016 issued by Academic Coordination Division. The repository can be accessed at e-Gyankosh portal (www.egyankosh.ac.in)

eGyankosh is a National Digital Repository of IGNOU to store, index, preserve, distribute and share the digital learning resources developed by IGNOU faculty. Learning resources in eGyankosh are protected by copyright, with all rights reserved by IGNOU, unless otherwise indicated.

The University has digitized the Self Learning Materials (SLMs) of all the programmes, and they are available to the learners through its eGyankosh portal (a national digital repository). The contents on eGyanKosh are regularly updated with the new and revised course material. The eGyanKosh Portal is very popular among the learner community across the globe as is evident from the daily hits on the portal. So far the page has more than 231143982 Page Views with more than 13371132 users

E-content on Mobile Applications:
COE team has developed Mobile Application titled as “IGNOU E-Content” for viewing and downloading the digitized Self Learning Material (E-SLM) during 2021. So far more than 25,80,532 learners have downloaded and installed this application.
