Dr MC Nair is Director, Centre for Extension Education (CEE) at IGNOU, New Delhi. Dr. Nair has more than 23 years of teaching experience at the university level and has considerable research experience in Open-Distance Education, Extension Education, Comparative Education Policy and Lifelong Learning.

He earned his PhD in ‘Open Distance Education’ as a Commonwealth Scholar from the University of Nottingham, UK. He also did his Post-Doctoral Research on ‘Extension Education Policy of South Asian Open Universities’ at the School of Education, University of Nottingham, UK, as a Commonwealth Fellow.

He has more than 20 research papers published in national/international level journals/books/conferences to his credit.
