IGNOU, in collaboration with NIEPA, UNESCO. NCERT. NCTE and MHRD organised an Asian Regional Conference on ‘Learning: The Treasure Within’.
A virtual conference is held as a curtain-raiser at EMPC.
The Commonwealth of Learning (COL) gives IGNOU the 'Award of Excellence for Distance Education Material' for the course titled 'Education and Training of Elected Members of Panchayats through Distance Mode.
The 10th convocation held. Smt Mahasweta Devi conferred the Doctor of Letters, Honoris Causa.
Prof. Ian Mugridgc delivers the 4th Prof. G. Ram Reddy Memorial Lecture on ‘Quality Assurance in Open and Distance Education’.
The School of Management Studies, under the aegis of AIMS-CCMS-CIDA, organises a workshop on ‘Empowering Women though Enterprise’.
Shri Maharaj Krishen Kaw, Secretary, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, inaugurates the Satellite Earth Station.
