Dr. Hemlata Chand
Assistant Professor
Dr. Hemlata Chand is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Discipline of Child Development, School of Continuing Education, Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. Prior to joining IGNOU, she was working as Assistant Professor at Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed University), Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
She obtained her bachelor’s (B.Sc. Home Science with specialization in Human Development & Family Studies) and Master’s degree in Human Development and Family studies from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. She is UGC-NET JRF qualified and received her Ph.D. from Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed University), Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
Dr. Chand has ten research publication in reputed international journals. She was awarded with best paper publication by International Academy of Science Engineering and Technology. She has presented several scientific papers in national and international conferences. She also held the membership of various scientific bodies concerning to the field. Her research interests include children in difficult circumstances, disability and parenting.
