Eligibility:

The revised eligibility for admission into Master of Business Administration (Banking & Finance) (MBF) Programme is:

 

Passed Bachelor Degree of Minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).

Note: Fee Rs 15,500 per semester, Total four semester = 62,000 (full courses fee)
 
 

 

This Programme was launched by the School of Management Studies, IGNOU, following a MoU between IGNOU and the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) in order to provide an avenue for post graduate academic qualification in Banking and Financial Services. This Programme has been designed to meet the customized needs of students. The Programme has been considered desirable to upgrade the managerial skills and capabilities of the students who wish to pursue their career in the Banking & Financial Sector.
 
The MBA (Banking & Finance) (MBF) Programme consists of 28 courses with a total credit weightage of 116 credits in all. These courses comprise of:
a)      Twenty (20) Core courses (from MMPC-001 to MMPC-020) of 4 Credit each = 80 Credits.
b)      Seven (07) Courses from any one of the chosen specialization area of 4 credits each = 28 Credits.
c)      One (01) Project course MMPP-001 of 8 credits. MMPP-001 (Project Course) is equivalent to two courses.

d)      Students need to select 7 courses in each of the semesters during the programme.
