Duration: Minimum 1 year and Maximum 3 years; offered in both January & July cycle of admissions.

Diploma in Theatre Arts is the first of its kind to offer through distance mode with active practical components of Acting, Scene Work and Class Room Production to the learners.
 
Objectives:

 

  • To cater the needs of the learners in Theatre Arts at diploma level.
  • To develop the understanding the elements of theatre among the learners.
  • To provide theory and practical inputs of theatre.
  • To provide opportunities through hands on practice to create the theatrical performances.
  • To provide skill based knowledge in Theatre and its allied subjects.
  • To provide self/employment opportunities in the field of theatre and related arts.
