IGNOU and IIBF Extend Partnership for MBA (Banking and Finance)

IGNOU has renewed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF). This partnership aims to offer a specialized MBA program in banking and finance. The MBA (Banking and Finance) Program has been specifically designed to enhance the managerial skills and capabilities of those students who wish to pursue their studies in the Banking and Finance area of study.

Expressing his happiness, Prof. Nageshwar Rao, Vice-Chancellor of IGNOU, appreciated the longstanding collaboration between IIBF and the University.  He also appreciated the efforts made by the School in revising the Programmes/ courses.  Further, he suggested that this Programme needs to be promoted in the International Arena, as the eligibility is now more open.  Prof. Rao also felt that the courses of this Programme may be offered course-wise to meet the needs of the learners.
 
In his address, Shri Biswa Ketan Das, CEO of IIBF, acknowledged the mutually beneficial relationship between IIBF and IGNOU. He stressed the importance of effectively conveying the value proposition of this unique MBA program to prospective learners. With the banking industry undergoing digital transformation and the rise of fintech. Shri. Das highlighted the program's relevance and the crucial role played by IGNOU in meeting the industry's human resource requirements.
 
Director of the School of Management Studies, Prof. M.S. Senam Raju, expressed his satisfaction about the renewed partnership, emphasizing its potential to expand the program's reach and benefit a greater number of individuals in the banking and finance sector.

During the event, Prof. K. Ravi Sankar, Coordinator of the program, provided an overview of the longstanding association between IIBF and IGNOU.
 
The signing ceremony for the MoU took place in the presence of Prof. Nageshwar Rao, the Vice-Chancellor of IGNOU and the Pro Vice-Chancellors of the University. The MoU was signed by Shri Biswa Ketan Das, CEO of IIBF, and Dr. Alok Chaube, Registrar of IGNOU.
 
The occasion was graced by the presence of Directors of Schools, Heads of Divisions and other key officials from both IGNOU and IIBF.
