IGNOU to organise All Women Job Fair on November 24th
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has always been proactive in promoting the activities pertaining to women empowerment/development through its various initiatives. Keeping in view the growing competitiveness in the corporate spheres, the University feels a pertinent need to give an opportunity to its women students to gain foothold in the industry.
Accordingly, the Campus Placement Cell (CPC) is organizing an All Women Job Fair for the female students of Bachelor and Master Degree Programmes on November 24, 2015 (Tuesday) at Convention Centre, IGNOU Campus, New Delhi. The drive is open for all the eligible female students registered with Regional Centre of Delhi NCR and adjoining Regional Centres, namely Aligarh, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jaipur and Karnal.
In the event, various companies from different sectors will participate and offer salary bracket for all the offered positions is Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month. Apart from a leading airlines company, till now, TenderNews.com, ATS Services, Dash Career Fox Pvt. Ltd., Yatra.com, go-ibibo.com, Aegis Ltd. and Policy Bazar have confirmed their participation
Dr. Manoj Kulshrestha, Director Incharge, CPC informed that the Cell has planned many placement drives next year at different locations in the country for the students of different programmes in association with Regional Centres and Study Centres.
The students are required to carry a copy of their resume, an ID proof, address proof and passport size photograph at the time of interview. The students have to join immediately as these are urgent openings. The list of shortlisted/selected students will be declared at the end of the day. The candidates will be issued an offer letter after they submit their documents for verification.
