Mr. Dinesh Kumar Rai has joined IGNOU in 2004, working as Cameraperson at EMPC, New Delhi. He has around 18yrs experience as cameraperson & video journalist in the field of media. Before IGNOU he worked with a number of media organization like;
? Rajya Sabha TV, New Delhi, from 2011 to 2013 on leading position in camera department, during this period he covered live proceeding of Upper House and visited number of places with the delegation of Vice President of India.
? IBN7( TV18 Broadcast Limited, Noida) from 2005 to 2011 as a video journalist.
? Zee News, Noida from 2004 to 2005 as cameraperson.
? Sadhana tv, New Delhi from 2002 to 2004.
? JAIN tv, from 2000 to 2001.
He is pursuing PhD in mass communication from MCU, Bhopal before that he done:
Master in Journalism and mass communication from BU, Bhopal
Bachelor of Journalism and mass communication from BU, Bhopal
Master of Arts in Hindi from Barkatullah University, Bhopal
Bachelor of Arts from Barkatullah University, Bhopal
Diploma in ‘Applied Videography’(three yrs) from S V Polytechnic, Bhopal in 2000.
PG diploma in Distance Education from IGNOU
As a research scholar three research papers are published, participated number of national/international seminars/workshops. Also delivered number of lecture as resource person and given hands on training in workshops.
Awarded by Media Federation of India in the category of ‘Best Cameraperson of the year-2008’ for ‘Swarge ki Seedi’ programme.
Awarded in category of cameraperson of the month Sept-07 for ‘Swarge ki Seedi’ programme by Rajdeep Sardesai, Editor-in-chief , CNN-IBN.
