K.VISHWANATHAN, BFA, PDFA, (Fine Arts) is Deputy Director (Graphic) in the Electronic Media Production Centre at IGNOU, New Delhi. In charge of entire graphic and scenic dept. He is working in IGNOU for the last 32 years and has wide experience as designer in empc video production, print production, event management. Over these years his contribution as an graphic designer has been wide and varied. As a graphic designer his work involves visualising day to day events as well as major events, Concept Designing based on different theme and getting it implemented by coordinating and assigning to staff working under him.

His goal is to get definite changes to the University at large with the EMPC Department playing a role here by bringing about Uniformity in the colour code and pattern of the course material campus signage, logo. Creating an icon for each school of studies. To adhere consistently to university's colour code in posters, banners, study materials to be on par with the international standards.
