Dr. Dinkar B Kamble

Assistant Professor

Dr. Dinkar B. Kamble is presently working as an Assistant Professor (Food Science & Technology) at the School of Agriculture, Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. He has obtained Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from the National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Kundli. He did his B. Tech (Food Technology) from Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agriculture University, Parbhani and an M. Tech in Chemical Technology (Food Technology) from Laxminarayan Institute of Technology, Nagpur (Now Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University, Nagpur). He worked as an Assistant Professor for four years with different institutions like the College of Food Technology, Nanded; VFSTR, Guntur; and MIT ADT University, Pune.

He is associated as an active member of various organizations including the Association of Food Science and Technology (AFST), Vijnana Bharati and All India Agricultural Students Association and was elected as a National Vice President (AFSTI) for the year 2021-22.

He has published 18 research papers in different national and international journals and 6 book chapters. His present areas of research are grain processing, alternative protein and modifications, novel processing, and new product development.
