Prof. Smita Chaturvedi
Professor
Prof. Smita Chaturvedi’s area of Specialization includes Hindi Novel, Folk Literature and Premchand. Her latest book “Sudarshan: Sankalit Kahaniyan” is published by National Book Trust, New Delhi. Prof. Smita Chaturvedi is serving School of Humanities, Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi for the last 30 years.
Prof. Smita Chaturvedi has written stories which are published in various magazines. Many research paperson varied topics including fiction, children literature and folklore are published to her credit. She is Paper Co-ordinator for Hindi Subject for the online e-PG Pathshalaprogramme of University GrantCommission, MHRD, New Delhi. She has prepared and presented videoson Stree-Lekhan topic for MOOC’s ( Massive Open Online Courses) programme of UGC, New Delhi. She has actively participated in various National and International Seminars and Conferences.
Prof. Smita Chaturvedi was a Visiting Professor to ICCR ( Indian Council for Cultural Relations ) Hindi Chair at Peking University, Beijing, China.
