Introduction

B.Sc. Biochemistry (Major): (BSCFBC)is anundergraduate degree programme in Biochemistry offered by IGNOU under UGC-FYUP scheme as per the NEP 2020 guidelines that provides the learners to have exit option after each year. It aims to provide high quality education in the applied field of Biochemistry along with other interdisciplinary courses through the open and distance learning mode. This UG degree will provide learners a broad-spectrum exposure to a variety of interesting theoretical and practical concepts. This programme therefore, provides the learners an excellent opportunity for career progression through higher education in the Biochemistry.

Objective
