Dr. Latha Pillai, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university, has been working in the field of tertiary education for over two decades. Dr. Latha Pillai holds a Doctorate in Applied Psychology from the University of Madras; has over two decades of experience as an Educational Planner & Administrator; worked in the University Grants Commission and National Assessment and Accreditation Council; contributed significantly to the development of a Quality Assurance Framework for Higher Education, actively engaged in Leadership Training Programmes and Capacity Building for Women in Higher Education, participated in many conferences and seminars nationally and internationally; recipient of Indo-US Visitors Fellowship; International Resident Fellowship at Calgary, Canada and Endeavour Post Doctoral Award by the Australian Government.
