The B.A. in Applied Urdu (BAAUD) programme aims to develop learners’ proficiency in Urdu language and literature through a balanced blend of theoretical and practical components. Skill Enhancement Courses such as Principles of Translation, Computer Application in Business, Introduction of Mass Media in Urdu, and Study of Electronic Media in Urdu equip students with practical skills relevant to translation, communication, digital literacy, and media industries. Designed in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP-2020), the programme follows a flexible, credit-based framework with multiple entry and exit options, ensuring learners can progress at their own pace.
