The programme has been revised, the revised programme is on offer since January 2018 session in accordance with the Biomedical Waste Mangement Rule 2016 as amended and the WHO document of safe management of waste. The concern for bio-medical waste management has been felt globally with the rise in deadly infections such as AIDS and Hepatitis B.
