This course consists of 5 blocks. Block 1 Named Law Relating to Women and Children covers Understanding Gender Based Discrimination, Offences against Women, Domestic Violence, Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace, Convention on The Rights of Child, Offences against Children , Juvenile Justice System.
Block 2 Named Law Relating to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes covers Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act,1989 , Employment of Manual Scavengers and Construction of Dry Latrines (Prohibition) Act, 2013, Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976. Block 3 Named Laws Relating to Persons with Disabilities covers Guiding Principles, Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, 2006, Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, Other Disability Legislations (Mental Healthcare Act, 2017, National Trust for the Welfare of Persons with autism, cerebral palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities Act, 1999, Rehabilitation Council of India Act, 1992). Block 4 Named Laws Relating to Other Groups covers HIV-AIDS, Rights of Elderly Persons, Rights of LGBTQ plus, Rights of the Victims of Human Trafficking, Rights of Acid Attack Victims, Law relating to organ transplantation, Surrogacy Rights . Block 5 Named Other Laws covers Overview of Cyber law, IPR issues in cyber space, Principles of Insurance Law, Compensation and Penalties under Motor Vehicle’s Act, 1988. |
