The Online Diploma in Urdu Language (DULOL) programme is designed for learners who wish to enhance their proficiency in Urdu through flexible, technology-enabled learning. This 24-credit programme can be pursued after completing the Certificate in Urdu Language or directly after 10+2 (12th standard). It aims to develop learners’ skills in reading, writing, comprehension, and communication in Urdu, along with an understanding of its literary and cultural heritage. The online mode allows students from across the country and abroad to learn at their own pace through interactive digital content, audio-visual materials, and online assessments. The programme serves as a bridge to higher studies and opens up diverse opportunities in media, translation, education, and cultural sectors.
After completing this programme, learners will be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in Urdu. They will gain an understanding of Urdu grammar, vocabulary, and literary expressions, along with exposure to modern and classical Urdu texts. The programme will also enhance their analytical and translation skills, preparing them for both academic and professional pursuits involving Urdu language and literature.
