Course 1 has been divided into 4 Blocks. Block 1 deals with Basic Issues relating to Criminal Justice System. In this we will discuss the definition of crimes, approaches to crime and responses to crime. In this Block the Concept of crime has been discussed in details along with the advantages and disadvantages of punitive, Therapcutic and preventive approaches to crime along with the gray areas of criminal justice system. In Block 2 Principles of Criminal jurisprudence has been discussed in details. The learners will be acquainted with The Constitution of India and the interpretations given by supreme court and High Court in granting the remedies for the violation of the basic human rights of the citizens. The learners will be able to appreciate the role of police, human rights commission and media in helping and assesting in Prevention of Crime. Block 3 covers the criminological Theories, Human Right approaches and concept of Victimology and Restorative Justice. Block 4 talks about concept and basic objectives of Criminal Justice System. It further discusses the Prosecution Process and Defence Advocacy.

Course 2 has been divided into 4 blocks. Block 1 is titled, "General Principles of Criminal Law" which deals with the salient features of Indian Penal Code, the concept of "Mens Rea", the principles of liability and the various stages of crime. In Block 2, you would learn about General defences .Constituent elements of Insanity, Intoxication and other defences has been discussed. Block 3 would cover Offences against Person and Property. Murder, Culpable Homicide, Theft, Cheating, Extortion, Robbery, Dacoity and Criminal breach of trust have been explained . The last Block i.e. Block 4 is all about some crucial and burning issues like rape, dowry death, sexual harassment, crime against scheduled castes and Scheduled Tribes etc

Course 3 has been divided into 4 blocks. Block 1 deals with the investigation process, Block 2 deals with the Prosecution process, Block 3 deals with the Trial process and Block 4 deals with the correctional process

Course 4 has been divided into 4 blocks. Block 1 deals with the criminal justice administration system. it discusses organization, structure and function of the police, it also discusses police community interface. Block 2 deals with prison and it covers Prison Act, Prison manual prison rights and visitorial system Block 3 deals with Judiciary it covers organisation, powers and function of the judiciary along with sentencing justice. Block 4 deals with science and technology in criminal justice system. It discusses E-management, understanding and analysing postmortem reports and efficacy of scientific evidence.
