In this course you will study the important numerical methods that are commonly used to find solutions to physical problems. You will learn the methods of numerically determining the roots of polynomials, intrapolation and extrapolation of data, solving differential equations and numerical integration. You will then implement these computational techniques by writing the numerical algorithms and implementing these algorithms through a computer programme.

The course also covers heat removal from fuel elements, including conduction, convection, and boiling heat transfer, enabling learners to analyze the stability and safety of nuclear reactors under dynamic conditions.
