Taking action on the directions of the Hon’ble President of India as Visitor of Central Universities, an InnovationClub@IGNOU was established at NCIDE in March 2015. The InnovationClub@IGNOU aims at creating a culture of innovation and motivating the faculty and students to be innovative. Besides monthly brainstorming meetings of the InnovationClub@IGNOU, workshops, seminars, popular lectures and presentations on innovation and innovative practices have been organised by the club from time to time. Various issues highlighted in the NEP-2020 are also discussed in the Innovation Club meetings to think of the suitable implementation strategies.
