The Freedom 2 Learn podcast represents a strategic initiative by SOMS designed to deliver valuable insights to learners and stakeholders regarding advancements across diverse fields, with a particular focus on management. Initiated in June 2020, this platform unites professionals across various sectors to engage in discussions on contemporary topics, in line with IGNOU's mission of "Reaching the Unreached" and advancing open educational resources.
The podcast seeks to inform students and other interested individuals about the latest advancements in management through episodes. Furthermore, we aim to ensure they have access to digital resources that will keep them informed about the latest themes across several disciplines. The format of IGNOU PODCAST consists of episodes that comprise several series. Each episode centres on a contemporary subject. A series consists of multiple episodes that are highly instructive. A diverse array of themes underpins this. The episodes include expert speakers from industry, academia, and policymaking, identified through a tripod methodology.
The podcast can be accessed through the following link:

Initially created with a narrative structure, as opposed to verse or dramatic script, audiobooks are adaptations and derivatives of texts initially published in print or online. An audiobook enables the listener to concentrate on the auditory rendition of the text instead of reading the words on a page. Audio books convey an image of accessibility and ease of consumption. Contemporary audiobooks can be digitally downloaded in various audio file formats, including but not limited to MP3, WMA, and AAC. They are compatible with a diverse array of devices, including smartphones, tablets, PCs, and automobiles. Consequently, the content is readily accessible, allowing you to resume just where you paused.
One can conserve time by engaging with audiobooks while performing household tasks, exercising, driving, cleaning, folding laundry, or shaving. They retain and reinforce nearly as much, if not more, information.
IGNOU offers audiobooks for its MBA courses, addressing the needs of students who favour learning by listening or require flexible study options. These resources are available on eGyankosh and You Tube.
